I'm a digital artist and I ponify... Yeah. The program I use? That's simple. MS PAINT. What the--? You want to know how in MS Paint? That's REALLY simple. I use the CURVE TOOL. If you are wondering why you underestimate yourself, it's because you're an idiot. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK OTHER DEVIANTS HAVE WONDERFUL ART. Jealousy might take over you! Why not think about yours? Don't you think you did so much effort drawing/making your art? Don't be discouraged to make art. Instead, just smile and think about how much effort and hard work other deviants did to make their art. Can't you do the same? Start by practicing. (CAUTION: What you're about to read is from a comedy movie)What I always think about is: "Practice makes perfect, but nobody's perfect, so why practice?"
